去年伊莉莎白女王國際小提琴大賽中進入最後一輪，雖無緣晉級，小提琴家魏靖儀卻已經拿下去年參賽台灣最好名次。9月22日魏靖儀將與台灣絃樂團合作作曲家皮耶佐拉名作《四季》，讓國內樂迷聽見魏靖儀的琴藝。

「伊莉莎白國際小提琴大賽整個參賽過程，讓我成長很多，接下來我會把茱莉亞音樂院念完，先拿到大學學位，當務之急一是要熟悉在舞台上的表現，台風要更穩健，二是要累積更多曲目。」

魏靖儀今年22歲，出生台南，是家中獨子，從小父母親就讓他學鋼琴，後來改學小提琴，比賽不多，卻總拿下佳績。高一那年，魏靖儀拿到第9屆台灣絃樂團所舉辦的小提琴比賽第一名，超齡的演奏技巧與音樂天賦，驚豔全場，也與台灣絃樂團結緣。

那年也改變了魏靖儀的人生。「我功課很好，升學沒有問題，暑假我去參加國台交舉辦的夏令營，認識了當時擔任音樂營藝術總監胡乃元，決定要走音樂之路。」魏靖儀說，那年集訓之後出國巡演，「我自己很感動，他讓我知道演奏音樂需要思考，音符之間有邏輯關係，音樂的演奏要有系統，這些都讓我願意更投入演奏。」

高二那年，魏靖儀考上茱莉亞音樂院先修班，負笈紐約至今，看似順遂的音樂人生，最大的敵人還是自己，「不能說沒有壓力，壓力就是要把琴練好。」魏靖儀還在紐約住所養了倉鼠，回到家打開門，倉鼠會從籠子探頭出來看看主人，轉圈圈，「看著牠我非常療癒」。

下半年魏靖儀將與台北市立交響樂團到福州演出，同時應小提琴家夏漢領軍的韓國世宗弦樂團之邀成為團員，展開國際巡演。這次在國家音樂廳演出法國作曲家蕭頌《詩曲》以及作曲家皮耶佐拉描述南半球季節變化的名作《四季》。

大批民眾高呼口號，舉牌抗議，為了表達對非裔人士再遭員警槍殺的不滿，北卡的夏洛特市街頭，接連上演遊行示威。但21日晚間的和平抗議，卻演變成警民大亂鬥，當局因此逮捕40多人，宣布進入緊急狀態。而市長羅伯茲也出面安撫民心，強調一切照常。為防前兩天的失控暴動重演，22日的夏洛特街頭，不僅有龐大警力戒備，還有國民兵進駐，只是憤恨難平的民怨何時才會平息，還得看警方如何給個交代。

事件回溯到20日，43歲的非裔身障人士史考特，20日下午坐在車內，邊讀書邊等兒子放學，不料一名非裔員警竟錯把史考特當通緝犯，將其擊斃。而槍擊案也引發軒然大波，因為家屬堅持，史考特當時手裡拿的是書，他根本就沒有槍，更遑論攜帶。但警方也堅稱、是史考特不放下手中武器，並對員警造成威脅才會開槍，至於現場也沒找到任何書籍。

聲音來源：CNN主播：「有消息指出畫面上紅圈裡的黑色物體，是警方在(史考特被槍殺)現場找到的槍。」

不過據美國CNN得到的消息指出，現場照片中，有把手槍掉落在地，槍枝主人到底是誰，也成了羅生門。

史考特家屬委任律師 班柏格：「我在(案發時的)影帶裡看到的是，他(史考特)並沒有拿槍對人，這是無庸置疑的。」

目前警方已讓史考特的家屬看過當時影帶，委任律師表示，畫面上不僅沒看到史考特持槍，更沒對員警造成威脅，雖然他手裡拿著東西，卻看不出是什麼，其實就連警方也坦承，無法肯定史考特手中持槍。看了影片後的疑問反倒比答案還多。因此史考特的家人也呼籲警方將影片公諸於世、好讓社會給個公評。（民視新聞綜合報導）
